Hi, I’m Nancy Carr, owner and creator at “Inspired by Nature Creations.” My journey with art began as a child. I did all forms of art. I won several awards in school and at the county fairs. It was always my dream since childhood to sell my art at Craft Fairs. One of the best-selling items while working in a nursery the 90’s was the tabletop fountains. It gave me the inspiration to get it all started. I had a nice collection of rocks, crystals and wood that I would find while going out on my outdoor adventures. I created little nature scene fountains with these items and it really took off well!

My business was called “Creative Waterworks by Nancy.” One of my fountains even got published as a project in a book called “Creative Tabletop Fountains” by Martha La Van. My craft fair dream was short lived when the cheap, imported tabletop fountains came along in the early 2000’s. My sons were young, so the craft fairs were put aside to raise them. Fast forward to 2016, my collection of wood, rocks and crystals had really grown. I decided it was time to do something with them. Along with fountains, I started making wood plant hangers, windchimes, painted night lights and more! Alas my new business “Inspired by Nature Creations” was born. You can find me at many of the local craft events selling my goods. I am doing my life’s desire and it brings joy to my heart and soul. As what I hope you feel when you purchase one of my creations!
